Session Topics & Descriptions

The Impact Cycle - Michelle Harris from Jim Knight's Instructional Coaching Group / Coaching-Mentoring Track

Helping adults is complex: "both exhausting and exhilarating" says Tracy, a coach in Franklin, TN. Why? This workshop explores why helping adults can be challenging and gives you some ways to understand and ameliorate those challenges. We will also look at research-based coaching conversations and have a chance to reflect, practice, and dialogue.

Teacher Leadership - Thomas Van Soelen / Support Track

Teacher leadership is just plain tricky. It is an almost impossible juxtaposition of two words which don't seem to go together! Spend the day reflecting on your own triumphs and (near) tragedies as well as leave with specific tools to improve the frequency of the good moments!
