Don't Be a Slacker!
As your last semester of high school is beginning, please remember to stay strong academically and not slack off. Colleges require that we submit a copy of your final transcript to them in June. If your grades have dropped or you have changed classes without notifying them, they can rescind their acceptance offers during the summer.
Show Me Your Money!!
Many of you are beginning to receive scholarship offers. Please do not forget to notify me of the offers. If the offer comes to you as an email, you can simply forward it to me. If it is a letter, just bring it in and I will make a copy of it. GCS recognizes all scholarship offers, even if you do not accept them. Also, as you begin receiving financial aid offers, bring those in as well. GCS recognizes all scholarships, grants, and work study offers that are awarded through the FAFSA. Thank you!
FAFSA Day
FAFSA Day is a FREE opportunity to receive help from college aid professionals in completing and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This day takes place on Saturday, February 20, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.
