National Library Week April 8-12 Let's Celebrate!
To celebrate we will have a School Spirit Library Week.
Monday 4/8 - Dress like a Super Hero as Mrs. White is our Super Hero.
Tuesday 4/9- Hats off to all libraries that we visit to find resources. Where a hat to school.
Wednesday 4/10- Dress in Bright or Neon Clothing don't forget the sunglasses.
Thursday 4/11- Dress in a shirt that tells where you have visited or want to visit.
Friday 4/12 - Pajama Day!

Can I share information about the learning environment I want my scholar to have next year?
Yes, you can record on the Google Form the ideal learning environment your star scholar needs to be successful in the classroom. Naming a specific star teacher will not be honored.
Do you take specific teacher requests?
No we do not take specific star teacher requests because staffing can change at anytime and any CES staff member will meet the needs of your star scholar. Specific star teacher requests will not be honored.
When is the optional Google Form due to Mrs. Hilliard describing the characteristics of the ideal learning environment for my star scholar?

Kindergarten Registration 2019-2020
Enrollment Procedures
Parents will be directed to fill out the packet here at CES. No packets will be signed out this year. This will allow for accurate accounting of enrolled scholars and allocating kindergarten staffing. Please bring the required items listed below when you come to CES to enroll. We will have a location for you to complete the packet here at CES. Thanks in advance for your collaboration to ensure we adequately staff kindergarten.
Required Items for Kindergarten Registration
- Provide your scholar's most recent immunization record
- Provide proof of birth date
- Proof of Residency: (gas, electric, water/sewer bill, property tax statement , or a signed lease/rental agreement) Must contain your name and dated within the last 30 days
- Enrollment form will be given to you at the school.

Our one night registration will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019. The hours for the April 4th evening registration are 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Yearbook Sales- Online sales end April 21st.
Paper Sales have ended. Online sales continue until April 21st.
When ordering online please use your scholar's name used when you registered for school at CES. We have to verify the sales by using your scholars given name not their nickname. Thanks in advance for your help.

When planning events for the month of March, April, and May please try to plan around the 5th grade MISA (Maryland Integrated Science Assessment) and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career).
