Stellar is excited to share our wonderful School program with our amazing families, and who better to recruit new students than you!! We are currently accepting applications for enrollment for next school year, so spread the word about how great it is here!! New families can apply online through our Stellar website, and also if any of you are enrolling new siblings or students to Stellar for next year, please complete the online application for that student as well. .

We are officially on "Hatch Watch Week"!

This Wednesday is Day 35 for the first egg (Eggs hatch 35-40 days) so that is when to begin "Hatch Watch"! Be looking for a "pip" or the first small opening in the egg that the eaglet makes with it's eggtooth!

These next few days be looking closely for evidence of Liberty or Guardian hearing the eaglets while they are still inside the egg!

Before the eaglets actually break through the main shell, they break through an inner membrane, and it is possible for the parents to hear the chick from outside the egg.

For our Homeschool Only Families: State Testing Coming Up

Hello Stellar families,

The week of May 3rd is California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, CAASPP, testing at Stellar. This is an annual test for grades 3-11. For those students at home and even students who are attending on-site classes, you may want to begin incorporating some Online Practice and Training Test s between now and May to assist your student in becoming familiar with the assessment platform and the digital tools. There are many subject content areas that you can practice taking this test, however it is important to focus on the buttons and navigating the tests so that your student is familiar and at ease with the test. Follow the link below to get started.

  2. Student Interface Practice and Training

  3. Sign In, then follow the prompts as you begin your practice.

  • Your student may need assistance to begin, but it is important that your student practice and explore this on their own as they would during the test.

  • Teach test taking skills, such as process-of-elimination.

  • During the test the students are given 2 pieces of scratch paper and a pencil. Do not use the Notepad embedded on the website - the notepad does not save information once you navigate from screen to screen.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me anytime.
