Making our Moms a special gift
The finished product- I love you, Mom!
Kids Love Musicals
This past Monday and Tuesday we started Kids Love Musicals. This year's theme is "Jungle Book". The kids loved dressing up like the elephant. They also took turns passing around Baby Mogli. We ended the week watching the original Disney "Jungle Book" in the gym. Lots of laughs and singing with "Bear Necessities"!
Goodbye, Mr. Alan!
We as a class are often blessed with the opportunity to have people in our classroom on a short-term basis. Mr. Alan came this past month to help out in our room, and was a real help and asset! The kids loved Mr. Alan. Alan has worked as a substitute with the Mentor Schools for the past two years. The rest of the year Alan is a park ranger with the National Park Service. He works at James A. Garfield National Historic Sit on Mentor Avenue May through October. He wanted to invite all of you, if you have the chance, to come to the historic site sometime and introduce yourselves. He would love to meet the parents of these wonderful students! :)
Thank you, Mr. Alan!
