We need your help making our school safe and making it run as smoothly as possible.

Please be sure that students are only dropped off and picked up by following school procedures and driving around the building to the side of the gymnasium. When students are dropped off in front of the building it causes safety concerns, as well as a traffic issue for the cars pulling away from the designated drop off area. Also, in the afternoons, please go through the car line unless you have an emergency and need to come in to get your child.

The Spring Fling Was a HUGE Success!

Our amazing PTO did a wonderful job organizing the Spring Fling. Mrs. Johnson was the chairperson and did a fantastic job! The food was delicious, the prizes were perfect, and the auctions went extremely smoothly. Silly Safaris LIVE animal show was an extremely exciting part of the evening! We couldn't have asked for it to have gone better! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event happen and who came out to support our children.

Thank you to our amazing PTO for organizing the book fair. It was a huge success and everyone at VFES appreciates all that you do!

Science Night with Hanover

Our Science Night with Hanover College provided a lot of hands-on activities and we had several 5th grade students who created exhibits of scientific experiments of their own. We had a great turn out and learned a lot! Thank you to our fabulous Title One department and to Hanover College for providing this amazing experience for our children.

Thank you to Shannon Carroll and Scott Memorial Hospital for partnering with Vienna-FInley Elementary School. We've appreciated the support with our students through the lessons that you've provided, as well as the staff body fat analysis you performed during our "Biggest Loser" competition. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

During National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, officials from the Scott County Emergency Management Agency donated a family preparedness tote for one lucky student. The winner for Vienna-Finley was Baylee Amos! Congratulations Baylee! Thank you to the Scott County Emergency Management Agency for helping to prepare our future!

Congratulations, Lucas Toppe, for earning 450 Accelerated Reader points this year! That is a HUGE accomplishment, and earned him "Lunch with the Principal." He and Mrs. Barrett enjoyed his favorite food, pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut during a special picnic on Friday, April 1. Lucas loves to read and is currently working toward earning enough points to be Mrs. Graves' helper for the day!
