Weekly Reflections
Happy New Year 2020!
Hello,
I hope everyone had a great break! I know it is unbelievable to see that we are in the year 2020. My hopes for this new year is for us to continue to push hard towards student achievement. Teaching and learning is going to be an increased emphasis this semester. As you know, we have a new and improved bell schedule. I am excited to see how this will help our students. Our high school is on a 90 minute block while our middle school has 45 minute classes alongside daily intervention and advisement. We are truly headed in the right direction. I look forward to seeing each of you this week!
Book Assignment:
You should be through Chapters 1 & 2
December: Chapter 3.
January: Chapter 4
Assignments will be mostly virtual for our book study. They will be given during the 2nd school week of January (week of the 13th)
Journals: They will be used to reflect on each chapter. Your reflection should include an action step that you will take or continue to do. We will begin activities with the book study after the break.

Spring semester is a very busy semester for the Counseling and Advising Department. Students will be regularly called to the Counseling suite in the Commons Area for individual and group sessions. Please be flexible and allow students to come as needed. As you know our bell schedule and framework for the school has changed, please adhere to it. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask anyone on the admin team. There are no major events for this week.
