He is a celebrated civil rights activist and religious leader who will surely be an inspiration to our students and staff. If your student athlete is interested in participating in MLC Spring Sports, please complete & sign required documents. The Middle School & High School Sports. All forms are DUE NO LATER THAN 3/6/20. Sports Packets are located in the Main Office and Nurse’s Office. The First Practices will be held on: Saturday, March 21 for High School & Monday, March 23 for Middle School. Looking In Theatre, the teen family life theatre, will hold auditions for its forty-third season at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, Hartford. Times are:
Saturday March 7, 2 – 6 PM in the Black Box Theater, 359 Washington St.
Monday March 9, 4:30 – 8:30 PM, in the Black Box Theater, 359 Washington St
Tuesday March 10, 4:30 – 8:30 PM, in the Black Box Theater, 359 Washington St
Wednesday March 11, 4:30 – 8:30 PM, in the Recital Hall, 15 Vernon St
If you will be in 9 - 12 next year, you are eligible to try out. No experience or preparation is necessary. These positions are paid, and involve a year-long commitment, beginning at the end of June and continuing through the 2020-21 school year. All tryouts are by appointment; they are done in groups and take about an hour; there is nothing to prepare. Looking In is a program of The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and of the Capitol Region Education Council. Students do not need to attend the Academy to participate in Looking In.
News for Seniors Parents and Class of 2020
The CREC Foundation is now accepting applications for College Scholarships
The application deadline is April 6, 2020 for The Bruce E. Douglas Scholarship for Overcoming Adversity. The scholarship is awarded to seniors who attend a CREC school or one of our member district schools. Last year, CREC handed out three, four year scholarships, in the amount of $1500 each. Students do not have to reapply, once they are awarded. Scholarship applications are available in the Counseling Office - along with other scholarship opportunities.

SENIOR NIGHT/SENIOR PROM
Seniors will have a SIX FLAGS SENIOR NIGHT on Friday May 15th from 6 pm to midnight. The park closes at 8pm and is open to SENIORS ONLY for the evening! Stay tuned for more information. The Senior Prom will be held on Friday, June 5th.

Graduation is approaching fast and your child needs to order His or Her Cap and Gown. Time is running out so please follow the directions below.
