The Sun Bear

Places it is found: Found from southern China to eastern India and as far south as Indonesia!
Diet: They are omnivores meaning that they eat plants and animals as well! They eat honey because of their long tongues. They like to eat on fruits, berries, roots, insects, small birds, lizards, and rodents.
Size: 4-5 ft on average
History of confrontation with humans:
Threats to them: Deforestation is one big threat to the species of the sun bear, poachers hunt them for their body parts and also farmers kill them as they eat their crops

The Asian Black bear

Places it is found: Asia/ Mostly south china, indonesia
Diet: Canivorous but also feed on grass, fruit, berries so they could be considered omnivores
Size: 130cm-190cm
Human confrontation: said to be quite aggressive to humans and numerous records of human attackings and killings
Threats to their species: Poachers hunt them for their fur and also to sell of as they will get quite a good amount for killing them. Another big threat is deforestation and they have many different uses for trees such as scratching their back.
