Jersey Mike's Donates $4,505 to HSEF
Thank you to the newly-opened Jersey Mike’s in Howard for donating $4,505 to the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation (HSEF). To commemorate its grand opening, Jersey Mike's provided coupons to HSSD families and local businesses for complimentary subs. During their visits, families made donations and Jersey Mike's gifted those dollars to HSEF.
Bell Ringing
Mrs. Otradovec's Bay Harbor students and Mrs. Peters' Forest Glen students spent a day shopping at HyVee for functional skills cooking groups and ringing bells at the Salvation Army's Big Red Kettle in Bay Park Square Mall.
Bay Port DECA Financial Literacy Fair
Bay Port DECA students taught Howard second graders how to add and subtract money at the DECA financial literacy fair, which was part of the younger learners' math lesson.
