Wolves Weekly Message
March 12th, 2021
Principal's Message
Dear Wakefield Middle School Families,
I apologize for the delay in sending last week's Wolves Weekly Message. I had an unexpected death in my family and was out last Friday.
Please be aware that throughout this week and next week, your students may have a substitute in a class or two as we support staff who are receiving their second vaccine shot. Many of our teachers have worked to schedule their vaccination appointments outside of school hours. However, there is a chance that staff experience side effects and need to stay home. We appreciate your understanding if this does occur.
There is no Asynchronous Learning Day this week. Instead, Wednesday is a regular school day. Our next Asynchronous Learning Day is March 24th. Beginning with that day and continuing with all future Asynchronous Learning Days, teachers will be scheduling small group live sessions for students who need additional help and/or have missing assignments. PLEASE remind your students to check their student email the week leading up to an Asynchronous Learning Day for individual invitations to these small group sessions.
Have a wonderful week!!
Sincerely,
Alison Cleveland
Principal
