More information will be coming as there are many wonderful features for the school, students, and community. Our goal is to provide a way for students to communicate with us even in those instances when they may worry about how others will perceive them.
How Are We Doing? LET US KNOW.
In relationships, there will be times when we agree to disagree. We may have to meet and talk several times to work through challenges. However, the most important part of a relationship is to communicate with one another and remember that the most important person in our relationship are our children.
We want to work with our families, and we believe allowing our families to tell us how we are doing will help us to build that bridge of mutual respect and understanding.
Stay tuned. More information will be forthcoming.

Orders placed on or before August 28th should be delivered during the first week of school.
Orders placed after that date will be delivered following the store closing date - September 23rd.

The District has appointed a new District Safety Specialist, Ms. Adrienne McManis, our Director of Special Services. The District spent a significant amount of time reviewing District procedures and considering the recommendations of the State Police, Homeland Security, and our own Police Department.
We will be adjusting building procedures which align to school security best practices. Mrs. McManis has met individually with each building principal to review what would work best in each building.
Some Examples:
i.e. Student, Staff, Substitute, Guest IDs (Everyone will be required to wear their IDs each day.)
i.e. The District will be identifying designated entrance / exits for students and staff.
i.e. We have implemented "red boxes" for ease of item "drop off"
i.e. Stop It Reporting App (accessible to students and the community)
i.e. 2 School Resource Officers and 1 Class III Officer will be present each day in our schools. They are part of our school community and will be involved in school experiences.
i.e. School safety drills will continue to be implemented a minimum of two times a month with follow-up communication with our families.
As a district, we will continue to identify district needs, plan, budget, and implement what is necessary. Building and District Safety Teams will be important in this process. Our community will ALSO be important in this process. Please communicate with us if you become aware of a concern. We cannot address what we do not know.
