Maddi Leigh Finishes High School Career With State Championship
To say that Maddi Leigh has had a great high school career is an understatement. On Saturday night Maddi capped off a great high school career with a State Championship in the 1600m and became only the second Howell female to post a sub five minute mile in school history. Maddi will finish her high school career with 12 All-State Medals and 1 State Championship. Congratulations to Maddi on a great high school career and good luck to her as she runs Cross Country and Track at NCAA Division I Oakland University.

55 Howell Student-Participants To Further Activity/Sport At College Level
The Class of 2017 will have 55 student-participants that will further their education and activity or sport at the college level. These 55 student-participants have excelled in the classroom as well where they have an over 3.6 cumulative GPA. Over the course of the past three years Howell has produced 163 student-participants that are furthering their education or sport at the college level. Class of 2017 Parent Club Makes $1000 Donation To Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
This spring the Senior Class Reps selected a charity to make a donation to on behalf of the Class of 2017. The students chose the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of former classmate Kayla Thornton, who passed away from the disease in middle school. A donation in the amount of $1,000 was given at the Charity Walk event on May 6, 2017. A big thank you to our senior students and parents for their efforts in raising the funds for such a great cause.
