It is official, testing season is here. We will have our first STAAR test on Thursday, April 20th. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and brings their laptop to school along with their charger. Also encourage them to take their time and give their best effort. This year the test is not timed and students have all day to complete the assessment. I know they will show great growth.

The TJHS Coyotes are tearing up the track! This weekend our students participated in the Fabens Invitational. Frida Ruiz earned a gold in the shotput. Maria Garcia earned gold in the 1600M and 400M. Esmeralda Dagda placed second in the 200M. Eileen Carrasco place in all five events in which she competed - gold in the 100M hurdles, gold in the 100M, silver in the 400M, silver in the long jump, and bronze in the triple jump. Congratulations Coyotes - You make us proud!
