Dear Families,

As we navigate the everchanging landscape of COVID 19 many days certainly feel like Forest Gump's famous line "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are gonna get."

I want to give a huge shout out to our staff, students, and families for your flexibility and resiliency. Each of you are superheros and helping to write history!

We continue to be hopeful that the case counts of COVID 19 will continue its decline and that vaccinations will become readily available. To receive notification of when you are eligible for the vaccination, visit: https://myturn.ca.gov/landing

Please encourage your student to continue logging in to the class sessions and completing their assignments. Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff are committed and ready to assist students with academic and social emotional needs. If you observe your student struggling, I encourage you to reach out to your teacher. Let your child know how proud you are of their efforts during this challenging period. Setting goals is a key strategy to success for all.

I encourage you to identify 2-3 goals your child will work towards each week. We all enjoy a reward or celebration, so tracking daily progress and planning what that mini celebration will be, is also a great motivator.

Please continue to mask up, wash hands frequently, and maintain social distancing protocols.

Be well and Stay safe!

Mrs. Mourtos, Superintendent

Home Ownership

Homeownership is possible during the pandemic. You CAN work on your plan to purchase your first home with down payment assistance through the #EmpowerHomebuyersSCC program. Funded by the County of Santa Clara’s 2016 Measure A Affordable Housing Bond, and administered by Housing Trust Silicon Valley, Empower Homebuyers SCC provides down payment assistance loans to first-time homebuyers with up to 17% of the purchase price on a market rate home. The program assists low to moderate income households in Santa Clara County.
