Mrs. Burke’s Class Garden

A big thank you to Mrs. Burke, Mrs. Solomon, and their kindergarten class for beautifying our school while learning about plants, gardening, and the weather. What a beautiful job they’ve done! We’re so proud and thankful!

Safety Reminders for Pick-Up and Drop Off

Ensuring students’ safety is our number one priority. Please remember that we have a number of students who walk to school each day. During pick-up and drop-off, please adjust your speed and provide students the time they need to move through the crosswalk.

Students have the right of way when crossing the street and all cars should come to a complete stop before exiting the Bryantville Elementary School property.

Nurse’s Update

Parents/Guardians of any student who is symptomatic or who has been identified as a close contact from any setting: school, sports, family, or community exposure, MUST speak to the school nurse and provide proper documentation PRIOR to the student returning to school. Without the school nurse's clearance, your student must remain out of school.

If your physician chooses to run both a rapid antigen test and a PCR test, your student must remain in quarantine until the PCR test confirms a negative result.

If your child has covid symptoms, please do not send your child to school and reach out to your school nurse for guidance on the next steps.

Massachusetts General Law 105CMR200.200 requires that all students entering kindergarten and 4th grade provide the School Nurse with a current physical examination. (*It is best practice to send a copy of your child's annual physical exam and immunizations to the school nurse every year). If your child has not had a physical examination since September 1, 2019, please schedule an appointment and send in a copy of the report upon completion. Please do not hesitate to contact me so we can work together to obtain the proper documents for your child.

Thank you,

Catherine Haley RN
