"God Doesn't Call The Qualified, He Qualifies The Called."
“The Lord will work out his plans for my life --- for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not abandon me, the works of your hands.” - Psalm 138:8
God didn’t just create us and then leave us. He created us with intention, His very own masterpiece. Whatever God has called you to, He will equip you for it. He will work His plans for your life. You might not feel ready, or feel you have the tools or the skills to do what you feel God calling you to do. But if He’s called you to it, you better believe He’s also equipped you for it.
You are his work of art, created by Him for a purpose of doing good works for His kingdom. He didn’t create you for nothing. You were beautifully created for a purpose, a one of kind, unique purpose. He will accomplish what he started by the work of His own hands.
Dear Lord,
Thank you that your love is so personal, that you created me, and that there is only one of me. You set your eyes on me from the beginning. You created me with a purpose and you promise to work out all the plans you have for my life.
Thank you that you are a faithful God. That all throughout Scripture, time, and time again, you showed your faithful love to your people. Lord, remind me in moments of doubt, that you will never abandon me, for I am your unique workmanship. I am yours. I am your creation.
Lord, help me to not compare myself to others. You created me, just as I am, and you view me as your masterpiece. Help me to see myself the way that you see me, not as the world sees me. Remind me that you have given me everything I need to work out the plans you have set before me. Help me remember that if you have called me to it, you have also equipped me for it.
Thank you for being my guide, the and for the Holy Spirit as my helper. Allow us to rest in the confidence that you will finish what you began in us.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

GRACE TUITION ASSISTANCE
The GRACE Financial Aid Program supports more than 250 students each year. As more families seek faith-based education, the GRACE Board of Trustees continues to grow the program. The establishment of scholarship endowments also helps keep program funding at levels to meet family requests.
GRACE Financial Aid is available to families who have students enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade in addition to ninth grade at St. John Paul II Classical School.
The online Financial Aid application portal for the 2021-2022 academic year is now open. After the online enrollment process is completed, a GRACE family who enrolls K-9 students may apply for financial aid online via TADS. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2021, and award determinations will occur in early June.
For information on enrolling for the 2021-2022 academic year, please visit gracesystem.org/enrollment.
In addition to the GRACE award, many of the Catholic parishes and schools also work with GRACE to make additional funds available to assist qualifying families. Inquire with your school principal to learn about school-specific assistance.
Fr. Thomas Hagendorf Scholarship for Holy Cross Parishioners
How does this sound? I tried to distinguish between HC, NDA and FF.
The Fr. Thomas Hagendorf Scholarship Fund was established upon the passing of this committed pastor in 2013. Many school and parish families at the time wanted to donate to “something” in Fr. Tom’s honor, which in turn, became the Scholarship Fund for Holy Cross families which is managed by Parish leadership. Fr. Tom was such a strong supporter of Catholic education, so this fund was designed to honor his memory and assist families with providing a Catholic education for their children. The fund was established with those memorial donations at the time of his death, and since has been funded by private donations from parish families and private donors.
The awards granted are for Holy Cross Parish families with children who attend Holy Cross, Notre Dame Academy or Holy Cross Faith Formation. These families must be in good standing at the time of application. Applications for Holy Cross School or NDA should be submitted AFTER applying for financial aid through the GRACE or NDA Programs. Upon determination of award from that program, families are encouraged to apply for the Fr. Thomas Hagendorf Scholarship by calling our Holy Cross Parish Office at: 920-468-0625. These applications and applications from Faith Formation families are due to the Parish by Friday, October 1, 2021.
