1st annual Kickball Tournament

On June 9th, Main Street League came together for a Kickball Tournament supporting Northville Civic Concern. 50+ women, over 4 teams, raised over $8000 to keep the pantry at NCC filled for the summer. It was a great family day with activities such as games, face painting and a lemonade stand. We celebrated with a picnic and music played by Steve Mullan. We are looking forward to this event next year. A Wrap Up party to celebrate the kickball tournament's success is in the works. Check out pictures from the event below.

Spotlight: Northville Civic Concern

Each month we will highlight a local organization, charity or way to put our resources to work. This month let's get to know a little more about Northville Civic Concern!

Northville Civic Concern is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1983 by a group of concerned citizens to benefit the needy of our community. The primary purpose is to provide food to those in need. Food is distributed on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month! Their goal is to build pride and self-confidence resulting in better decision making and improved quality of life.

NCC services about 100 families in Northville and Northville Township, as well as Focus Hope recipients. They are always looking for donations in the way of food, money or time!

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead
