Important Beginning of Year Meetings and Events
CHS Open House & Choir Parent Meeting
At this meeting we'll share with you the various communication methods we'll use to get information to you throughout the year, share information about our Choir Booster Club (how to join, available volunteer positions, items that members are able to order for their family), share preliminary details about our spring trip, and answer any questions you may have about our year in choir at CHS.
For our new parents, you will find that there are A LOT more opportunities for your students at the high school level; this meeting will be extremely beneficial to help you learn about the important procedures that are in place to ensure we all have a successful and positive experience.
Get Fit Day/Full Service Saturday
Another important day in getting the year off on the right foot is our "Get Fit" Day/Full Service Saturday. This will take place throughout the day on Saturday, September 21, in the CHS Choir Hall. Students will have a specific hour-long window of time to go through the line and get everything taken care of. Please make every possible effort to have your child present on this day.
We will have an assembly line setup to quickly and efficiently take care of the following items:
- Finances - the final round of collections for the Activity Fee, Polo Shirt Fee, and/or any other payments that you may wish to make on that day.
- Spring Trip - Complete the necessary paperwork and make your trip deposit payment to secure a spot on the spring trip.
- Booster Club - final chance to pay memberships and order items. We'll also kick-off our Booster Club Sponsorships on that day.
- Uniforms - With the help of our parent volunteers, students will be fitted for their choir dress/tuxedo that they will wear all year.
Here is the schedule:
- 9-10 - Chorale Women
- 10-11 - Bella Voce Women
- 11-12 - Concert Ladies Orange (6th Period)
- 12-1 - Concert ladies Blue (7th Period)
