Problems in Central America
Report by Anna Purvis
Poor Food Security
Hunger is one of the many problems in Central America. Hunger is caused by poor food security. Some families spend the entire day trying to find enough food. The problem is people in other countries think "the parents should be taking better care of their kids" but the problem is the parents aren't making enough money, and the soil isn't fertile enough to grow enough food so the food that is produced is so expensive that the people can barely buy enough food.
Tourism
Tourism is both good and bad in Central America, you probably know it's the main source of income, but it pollutes the surrounding area. Cruise ships for example pollutes the water, planes take a lot of gas, and tourists are taking things the locals need.
Natural Disasters
Natural disasters play a major roll in Central America's problems. Natural disasters can Demolish a town, city, infrastructure, and things like hospitals. It can take months to recover, maybe years in some cases!
Countries in Poverty and Emigration from Central America
I think these two problems go hand in hand so that is why I'm putting them together.
People are migrating from Central America because there aren't enough jobs in There so then there's not enough people in Central America to work at the jobs that are there to help support the economy. And since there isn't enough people making money in Central America to make money for others people are in poverty.
