CN Day of Caring! This is what it's all about!

In 2014 we began the CN Day of Caring. In a memo written in 2014 we shared:

More and more people seem to disconnect themselves from the environment surrounding them and from each other. Whether it’s being connected to social apps instead of each other, or just a breakdown in social interaction, a question keeps arising: Are we raising a group of students who are self-oriented?

In response to the needs we were seeing, we developed a program to promote characteristics that will help our students look outward into our community, the world, and work together as one. These characteristics include:

Caring

Citizenship

Fairness

Respect

Responsibility

Trustworthiness

The CN Day of Caring continues and each year we have worked together to make a positive impact on our school, our neighbors, and our community. It has become a great tradition at CN Jr/Sr High School and I hope that it is one that continues in years and years to come.

Photo #1 - As I was trying to put a shepherd’s hook in the ground, along came Mr. Yoder with a group of handsome young men. They got it in the ground. Thank you to Mr. Yoder’s group and thank you Central Noble for teaching the importance of community service. Emma Spink
