Volleyball
My life usually relvoves around volleyball duing the season, I have played since 5th grade but my 8th grade year was when I got pretty good. The beginning of the summer this year was when I moved to Bellville and we had practice all summer that was when I improved tremendously! There is just something about when I'm out on the court, I love getting excited after getting a good kill. When your really close with your team its even more fun cause you come together as a team and win as a team. You don't want a team that gets down on each other and yells. Having a strong team is one of the main focuses in volleyball. Build each other and the team will improve! Have a good attitude.
Switching schools
When I first moved i thought it was gonna be so bad, I was so not ready and my parents made me because we have a house here. Coming from Bellville having 200 something kids in my grade it is a big change. It is not as bad as I thought it would be, it is still hard. I miss all my friends like crazy, I only see them on the weekends. Going from seeing them everyday to not at all makes me really sad, but I like Fayetteville and meeting new people and trying new things. When I got here they wanted me on varsity volleyball but I couldn't be on varsity until 15 days. People in Fayetteville are so nice to me. Everyone was very welcoming!
Rodeo
When i was in Junior High i used to rodeo. I loved it, when I was in 6th grade we bought a horse named Rusty he was hard for me to ride at first and I was scared of him, but as I improved on my riding he got easier to handle and control. I used him for poles and barrels. When I got in 7th grade, I got a horse from my cousin named Casanova. He was the best thing I have ever had in such a long time. He is what taught me how to ride and get good, I was so thankful for having such a good horse for a year in a half till he passed away. One day i went out to the arena to practice, while we were practicing he started to freak out until i got off of him. Once i got off he fell over and my mom and dad ran and called the vet out and he said he had a heart attack, ever since that day I tried a couple horses out but i was basically done with rodeoing then. There is times when I do miss it and times when I don't.
