What is a mountain?
A mountain is a landform that has higher land around them. Few mountains stand by themselves, but others are part of a group of mountains, that are called a range. Some mountains are very hard to find.

Iron is another natural resource of a mountain.Iron can be used to make useful thing such as a harpoon or an iron sored or other thing to keep people safe.

Most animals that live on the top part of a mountain have thick fur to protect and keep them worm. Snow on the mountains make it very difficult for animals to find food to live. some animals like deer, foxes, squirrels, owls, rabbits, and some flies live in the lowest part of a mountain.

On the top of a mountain weather could get cold and very windy. Winter in the mountains are often long and very cold, some times the snow covers the ground for a very long time.
