The Grid Method

The Grid Method is a self-paced, student driven, mastery and standards based educational system that utilizes tiered learning targets and aligned learning tasks to maximize student achievement.
Day 1: Mastery Grid Development
Participants will be lead through the creation of Mastery Grids from State Standards. (Standards > Targets > Essential Questions > Learning Opportunities > Assessments > Organizing The Grid)
Day 2: Grid Implementation
Participants will be shown how to effectively implement The Grid Method in their classrooms. Topics during this session will include: Preparing to Start Your First Grid, Preparing the Learning Environment, Managing Learner Progress, Lesson Structure & Student Goals, and Grading
