A note from the Principal...
A note from Nurse Darlene...
The most common lice outbreaks are seen at the start of the school year, during winter breaks, and after spring break…all times when the students are out of school for extended periods of time. They are passed from person to person. They move quickly, but do not jump or fly. It is good practice to check your child’s hair, especially at the back of the head and behind the ears. Teach your child to never share brushes, combs, hats or coats. If you suspect your child has head lice consult your doctor or school nurse for confirmation of head lice and/or treatment.
