Present Like a Pro!
Last week's newsletter focused on student choice. This week we will explore some technology options for presentation tools. (Remember this does not rule out non-tech options!) By giving students choice in how they present, you are more likely to see their personalities come through in their presentations. Creativity gets more of a chance to flourish as well.
The beauty in this is that you do not have to be the expert in the room on all of the options. Instead help students learn to choose a tool that works best for their needs. Assist them in finding YouTube tutorials for the tool they would like to use. Your rubric will guide the "what" in the presentation. The tool will allow for the "how."

Pro tip from Mr. LeGalley at HHS: "When working in groups, allow one student to work on a MacAir in order to change backgrounds on Slides. Other students can work on iPads, but design can only happen on a computer."
