Dear Twelve Bridges families,
We have finalized our plans for returning textbooks, library books, Chromebooks, and distributing students' personal belongings as well as the yearbooks. This will take place on Monday, June 1st, and Tuesday, June 2nd depending on the student's grade level.
Our process is aimed at keeping everyone safe while creating an efficient system for material return/pick-up. Teachers and staff will be wearing appropriate protective gear to ensure everyones' safety. We are asking that families please remain in your car during the pick-up/drop-off with the exception of the Chromebook return location.
There is a lot of information. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Please note, Chromebook returns will take place in the bus pick-up off of Twelve Bridges Drive during all pick-up/drop-off times. All Chromebooks will be visually inspected and turned on to ensure they are in working order at drop-off. Please don't forget to bring the chargers.
Don't forget, Twelve Bridges Elementary is having a virtual book fair! The book fair has always been one of the best ways to support the TBE library. A portion of all purchases get credited back to the library! See below for more details.
Take care and stay safe,
Will Middleton
Twelve Bridges Elementary Materials Pick-up and Drop-off- June 1st and June 2nd
We will have two grade-levels dropping-off/picking-up at a time. Depending on the grade level, families will go to one of the following locations:
Location 1:
Pull into the main entrance of TBE. Drive around the parking lot and pull in front of the kindergarten building. Teachers will meet families at their car, retrieve school materials from their trunks, and place materials to go home back in their trunks.
Location 2:
Drive in through the park entrance and pull along the curb in front of the multipurpose building. Teachers will meet the families at their car, retrieve school materials from their trunks, and place materials to go home back in their trunks.
Families will need to return any textbooks, library books, and any work the teacher needs to collect (if applicable). Chromebooks will be returned in a separate location.
Teachers will return artwork, personal belongings, and yearbooks.
Day 1, Monday, June 1st
8:00am-11:00am
- TK/K will be stationed in front of the kindergarten building (See Location 1 directions above)
- 1st grade will be stationed in front of the multipurpose building (See Location 2 directions above)
12:00pm-3:00pm
- 2nd grade will be stationed in front of the kindergarten building (See Location 1 directions above)
- 3rd grade will be stationed in front of the multipurpose building (See Location 2 directions above)
Day 2, Tuesday, June 2nd
9:00am-12:00pm

- 5th grade will be in front of the multipurpose building (See Location 2 directions above)
Chromebook return will take place in the bus turn around off Twelve Bridges Dr. on the same days and time (not grade level specific)
If families have multiple children, they can contact each teacher and arrange a single pick-up/drop-off time during one of the student’s grade level times.

Six Flags Read to Succeed
Many of you participated in the Six Flags Read to Succeed Program this year! If your student read and logged at least 6 hours of recreational reading using their online portal, they have earned a free ticket to Six Flags!
As you know, parks are currently closed and they do not know when they will be reopening. Due to the circumstances, they are not able to put valid dates on the tickets because they want to be sure that they can give everyone plenty of time to visit the park. Instead of issuing tickets as they have done in the past, students will receive a certificate with a special code. When parks re-open, you can use this code to access and download their ticket online. Student certificates should be available on May 11th in the Six Flags online portal. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Bremner at dbremner@wpusd.org.
