PTA Newsletter

Welcome to the PTA Newsletter!

It has been relatively peaceful on the fundraising front this Half Term but the disco and cake sale will give a helpful boost to the PTA coffers plus Lorraine Mitchell's tireless efforts with the uniform shop, both new and second hand.

Remember, you can donate used (good condition, please) school uniform back to the school, by placing it in the red box under the shelter by the school gates. No white shirts or grey trousers, thanks.

There are loads of exciting events in the pipeline for the rest of the year, so please grab a cuppa and have a read through the newsletter, so you're fully informed...

We'd love to hear your feedback on the newsletter, events or anything else, at

Have a great break next week!

DISCO fun!

A big thank you to everyone who supported and helped at this event last Friday. The kids had a fantastic time and all behaved really well. They can certainly throw some shapes...!

We raised a fantastic £450, which will go towards computers for the Dome and a new Smartboard.

Scholastic Book Fair - 26th March - 2nd April

Brilliant Book Fair coming to Keston!

The fantastic Scholastic Book Fair comes to Keston on Friday 26th March. The Book Fair is a brilliant way to raise funds, in the form of new books for school. Last year, the commission we earned on sales equated to £1100 of books. Amazing!

We will have World Book Day vouchers for each child so £1 will be deducted from each purchase.

As well as the books you buy for your kids, there is also the Teachers Wist List, whereby you can purchase a book from a list each teacher draws up, and donate it to the class. Your child's name goes into the inside cover of the book.

The PTA will launch the Book Fair in The Dome from 3pm on Friday 26th March and it will be open every day the following week from 3pm. The children absolutely love browsing the shelves and there will be refreshments available at the launch too!

Please come and support this....
