This is an example of hypocrisy because at first the "preppy girl" is getting called out on what she would do if she saw these people in school, and she says that she would talk to them. Next, John Bender, says that that is the wrong thing to do, the preppy girl then calls him out on how he would do the same thing, even though he said he wouldn't.
