We are in Phase 2 – Christmas Food Drive supporting the local food pantry at the New Market United Methodist Church. Phase II ends on Thursday, December 8th. Remember if a 1st block class wins, that class gets a free breakfast from Dr. Chumbley’s Culinary Class – paid for by JROTC. If a 2nd, 3rd or 4th block class wins JROTC will buy pizza and soft drinks for that class. We will declare the winning class on Friday, December 9th. The breakfast/pizza can be awarded that day or any day the week of December 12th. Teachers: Please incentivize your students to donate. This food drive provides food for local families. Please help. We really need your support! Teachers – if you have canned food that needs to be picked up, please email LTC Hartley or SFC Lewis. The church will pick up the food on Friday, December 9th. We’ll also announce the winning class on that day. Thanks!

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
