Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we near the end of the school year, and with testing just around the corner along with spring break, we want to ensure that we have monetary resources to assist with various things for our students and teachers. Therefore, we are writing to request your support in making this vision a reality for being able to provide support for field day activities as well as support for teacher appreciation week. A donation of $5 would make a big difference in helping us achieve this goal. Any donation would be sincerely appreciated if you cannot give at this level. Please use the GOFAN link below to donate. Please forward the link to friends and family members as well. And as always, thank you for your continued support!

Student Behavior Information-We need Parents Assistant
Parents, as we get closer to state testing, and the end of the 2nd semester, there are some things that we need your assistance with regarding student behavior. We have seen an uptick in our student's misbehavior and disrespectfulness here at school, and this type of behavior and conduct WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. We are asking that you please speak with your student about his/her conduct at school. We need your support in these areas: (NOTE-THESE AREAS ARE NOT LIMTED TO JUST THESE)
1. Keeping one's hands to themself.
2. Keeping one's comments to themself (Students can't say things or write things like--- I'm going to kill someone, shot someone, blow up the school, I'm bringing a gun/weapon, etc.,) Saying or writing things like this will have serious consequences. Please encourage your child to tell someone if they need any assist or if they are having an issue with someone. (They must tell someone early enough so that the issue can be addressed).
3. Talking Back/Rude and being disrespectful to any and all staff.
4. Fighting-It doesn't matter who started it, fighting will not be tolerated (this includes the bus where fighting on the bus will result in a 45-Days suspension off the bus.
**We encourage you to revisit the Student Code of Conduct with your child this evening to ensure that he/she understands it and are familiar with its content.
Parents, we want to remind all of our students about their behavior at school. We have noticed an uptick in students receiving discipline referrals, which leads to ISS, OSS, and Disciplinary hearings. Please review our school student code of conduct with your child and speak to your child about his/her behavior at school. In addition, speak to your child about saying inappropriate things to others, keeping their hands to themselves, as well as reminding them of BULLYING, and that fighting doesn't resolve anything! PLEASE REVIEW WITH YOUR CHILD THE 2022-2023 PARENT INFORMATION GUIDE AND STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT ON PAGE 58 REGARDING FIGHTING.
Please note that NO form of BULLYING will be tolerated and that both student and parent can be held accountable/liable for student actions.
PARENTS, PLEASE MONITOR YOUR CHILD SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING AND ACCOUNTS. A LOT OF WHAT WE DEAL WITH HERE AT SCHOOL STARTS FROM THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA POSTINGS.
