~New Announcements~

Winter Formal
Purchase tickets on Monday- Wednesday, 3/14-3/16 until tickets are sold out. Ticket price is now $45 and great news, guest tickets are now for sale. This formal event takes place on March 19th at Grace Bible’s Courtyard from 7-10 pm. Dancing, firepits, live music, and light refreshments are included in the ticket price. See flyers around campus and check school emails for more details.
Twelfth Night

Twelfth Night. A fast-paced 1960’s romantic comedy with plot twists of romance, mistaken identities and practical jokes. Performances are March 17, 18 , 19 at 7pm. Tickets are $8 students / $12 general admission and are available at the Clark Center or by scanning the QR code on one of our posters. Join us for a hilarious time of live theater!

SPEAKING COMPETITION

Two of our students competed in the Lions Club speaking competition on Sunday, March 6th. Taking top honors was Lily Klapper (and $150) who will move on to the next level of competition. Zoe Lodge also spoke on the topic "How Can Kindness Reunite Our Country" and took Second Place. Lily will compete at the Regional Student Speaker Contest on Wednesday, April 6th.

TCFL Congressional Debate Qualifier, March 5th (on Zoom)

  • Richie Bozzano 15th Place

  • Zoe Lodge, Presiding Officer - 2nd Place

Our competitors discussed an Olympic boycott, Nuclear Power, Repealing SB 1383, prohibiting sentencing juvenile offenders as adults and the Anti-Retail Theft Act.

Community Service Opportunities

Student help is always needed at Home Track Meets.

Our next meet is on Friday 3/11. Several other opportunities will be in March. Interested students need to sign-up in Room 309 or in Room 908.

Submitting your community service hours

The Google Form for Community Service Hours is used for the graduation requirement of 20 hours. Any hours in addition to your graduation requirement should be submitted on the Give Back 250 Google Classroom with Mr. Hurtado.

TEACHER PARTICIPATION: As case managers and counselors are setting up meetings with students with Fs, it is absolutely vital and expected that all teachers participate in IEP, 504 and SST meetings. It is imperative that you provide your feedback and participation...a sub can be provided if needed, just let the case manager know. Please indicate on the calendar invite why you can’t make it if you decline.
