We Engage We Educate We Inspire
We had an awesome week returning from winter break! The students did a great job getting back into the routines of the school day. It is always so exciting to see our students excited to return to school and see their teachers. We all had a great week!
The Governing Board extended Hybrid learning through the end of January. They also changed the plan to a rotating A/B schedule. This means that kids will be coming every day. Please check with your teacher(s) if you aren't sure which days your student should attend. I've shared the alternating schedule below. Again, if you aren't sure which days your student attends, please check with your teachers.

Students designated as Level C and students in SPICE I & SPICE II will attend campus five days a week during the period of hybrid learning.
On days that students do not come to campus, normal school attendance rules still apply. Students need to log into Buzz for attendance to be taken. If students don't access Buzz by midday, an email is automatically generated and sent as a reminder. If students do not log into Buzz that day, they are marked absent for the day.

Lunch (and breakfast) is Free
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended free meals for children 18 years and younger until further notice to help ensure all children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gilbert Public Schools will provide combo meals at no cost to students for breakfast and lunch. A combo meal includes an entree, fruit and/or vegetable and beverage (milk and/or juice).
We certainly encourage our families to take advantage of this opportunity.
