Tuesday, Nov. 19th - Literacy and Book Fair Night

Our literacy specialists and librarian have prepared some amazing literacy activities to share with families in order to encourage our Mustangs to read more at home. The event will take place in the school library from 4:30PM to 7:30 PM. Select 4th graders have been selected to share some of their wit with the families so we also want to show off some of their comedic talent! Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open all week, but will be open till 7:30PM for families to peruse and purchase books. There will be several door prizes and giveaways, but you have to be present to win!

Wednesday, Nov. 20th - Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night

Join the Martin Elementary staff at Chick-Fil-A (6895 S Texas 6, Houston, TX 77083) on the corner of Highway 6 and Bellaire for a fundraiser dinner from 4:30PM-6:30PM. Whether you are too tired to cook after a long day of work, want a fun break with the kids, or just want to have a good meal with the Martin staff, a chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets for the kids is just what the doctor ordered! A portion of the proceeds earned will go back to the school in order to fund events throughout the year. Children can play on the enclosed playground, take pictures with the Chick-Fil-A cow, and all families can participate in an ice cream eating contest!
