Dear Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood Families and Community Members,
I am writing today to invite you to apply to serve on my new Superintendent's Advisory Council!
Over the years in Districts 67 and 115, we have experienced the positive impact that community involvement can have on the educational experience. Whether it be through the community-wide creation of the Portrait of a Learner and Strategic Plans, the countless events organized by our parent/guardian volunteers, or collaborative initiatives with local businesses and other organizations, the engagement of our families and community members continues to propel our young learners forward as they work to achieve their full potential.
I will host the Superintendent’s Advisory Council in person every quarter at 7:00 pm. My goal is to share meaningful conversation, receive your candid feedback, and solicit your insights and ideas as liaisons for our community. We are looking for engaged and collaborative residents of Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood. You do not need to have a student currently enrolled in our schools to apply.
If you are interested in serving on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council, please complete the form below by Thursday, December 21 at 3:00 pm
Your Boards of Education and I remain committed to further strengthening the bond between our schools and the community for the benefit of our students.
Thank you for considering this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Matthew L. Montgomery, Ph.D.
Superintendent
