2016 College Fair/College Visits
Crosby Scholars are required to speak with four college admission reps about their respective schools. Students typically fulfill this requirement by attending one college fair and submitting a college fair form during their sophomore, junior, or senior year. Starting with the Class of 2017, juniors and seniors have two options for meeting this requirement. Details are posted in the Crosby portal and are available by clicking here.
The WS/FCS System, along with CACRAO, sponsors a college fair each fall called the Post-Secondary Opportunities Session (PSOS). Approximately 110 colleges/universities are represented at this fair.
The date of the 2016-2017 fair is Monday, October 3, and it will be held from 5:00-8:00pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 460 North Cherry Street in downtown Winston-Salem. The college fair allows students the opportunity to interact with admission reps from North Carolina colleges as well as out-of-state colleges.
