Seeking New Games Workshop Locations
In 2019, Dale LeFevre, a New Games originator, will be conducting a New Games workshop tour across the United States. He is seeking organizations to host workshops in which participants learn games and how to lead them with feedback from Dale and fellow participants. Workshops also conclude with an opportunity to lead an open session where family, friends, and the community are invited to give workshop participants a real-life experience of leading New Games before leaving the workshop.
For more information, or to express interest in hosting a workshop, please contact Kit Klein at ckleinconsulting@gmail.com, or contact Dale LeFevre directly at dale@inewgames.com.
About New Games:
New Games are active, cooperative, group games for people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. They were created to serve as a great resource for your toolbox. No computers are involved, and most require very few props. The games are just for fun even when there is competition because it doesn't matter who wins. Players are never eliminated (unless they choose to leave a game) but change roles and keep playing. Because winning is de-emphasized, players can relax and have fun, for both people who normally don't participate in games, and even those who do. For more information, see inewgames.com.
