4 stages of menstrual
Amenorrhea- an abnormal absence of menstruation.
Premenstrual syndrome- A group of symptoms that occur in women, typically between ovulation and a period.
Dysmenorrhe painful menstruation, typically involving abdominal cramps.
menopause
A natural decline in reproductive hormones when a woman reaches her 40s or 50s
Common symptoms include hot flashes and vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances. The combination of these symptoms can cause anxiety or depression.
Postmenopause. These are the years after menopause. During this stage, menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes ease for most women. But health risks related to the loss of estrogen rise as the woman ages.
Perimenopause . This typically begins several years before menopause, when the ovaries gradually make less estrogen.
