The Eye Network Debuts Recorded Morning Announcements

The Eye Network, a subset of the Sports & Entertainment Marketing Pathway, broadcast their first episode of "Morning Announcements" on August 31. The Morning Announcements is the newest addition to The Eye Network's YouTube channel, which also includes live streamed athletic events with student commentators, and other campus activity video creations. Academy of Coastal Studies

Hurricane Oysters

After much hard work the past year, Hurricane Oysters is officially up and running for the 2021-2022 school year. Upper classmen in the Fisheries Management & Aquaculture pathway are some of the first to take a unique class that gives them hands-on learning experience at our oyster farm in Point Aux Pins. Throughout the year, they will be growing oysters for research, restoration, and aquaculture.

Academy of Advanced Academics

Vick Named National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalist

Cambridge Senior, Braden Vick, was recently announced as a National Merit Semifinalist for 2021. Semifinalists must have an outstanding academic record throughout high school, be recommended by a high school official, write an essay, and earn SAT or ACT scores that confirm their performance on the qualifying test. Braden is involved in several extra-curricular activities on campus including: 4 year member & voice of The Eye Network, National Honor Society Historian, Student Government Association, and 4 year member of Scholar's Bowl & Hi-Q.
