Dear HOLA School Community,


I hope you had a wonderful Winter Break! I take this opportunity to wish you all Happy New Year. May 2023 bring lots of happiness, peace and harmony for your family and our school community. I feel really blessed to have a school community that cares so much for the well being of all our Jets. Happy 2023 for all!


As a team of educators, paraprofessionals and support staff, we are committed to fostering dual language education so that students are bilingual, biliterate , with high academic achievement and global citizenship skills. This is only possible when families and our staff work together on fostering opportunities for our Jets: a BIG Thank You for your continued commitment to Dual Language Education.

School Updates

COVID KITS:

Please, make sure you administer the test the day before returning to school on January 8th or on the morning of returning to school on January 9th. If your child tests positive, do not send the child to school and notify the school office. Thank you for helping our school community to stay healthy.



Rainy Days: This week we will most likely have rainy days. Please, make sure your child brings a jacket or a raincoat so he or she transitions in and out of class comfortably.



Pick Up and Drop Off: As we return to school tomorrow, it is very likely that traffic will be busier than last week. I invite you all to take extra time in the morning to drop off your child. We use the white zone for quick drop off or pick up. If you want or need to walk your child to school, please park your car in the HOLA parking lot next to the Day Care or across from the school. Ms. Kathy will be helping us out in the morning to facilitate our Drop Off procedure. Please, do not use the parking at the front of the school for parking or dropping/picking up students. Thank you for helping our Jets be safe.

APPRECIATION: A HUGE Thank YOU to all families who brought food for our Staff for the Holiday Potluck. The food was delicious! You are amazing!

January 9th: School resumes.

January 9th: SSC meeting at 3:00pm.

January 13th: ELAC meeting at 8:15. All parents of English Learners are invited. Room 20.

January 24th: PFC Meeting at 6:00 pm in Room 20.
