DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY: the tasks of an accounting clerk

To complete some of the tasks you have to use the accounting software called DealerTrack technologies, those tasks are posting, coding and finding missing numbers and also some other activities are recording and filing and reconciling.

RATIONALE

The tasks I will be showing are the ones I have to complete daily as clients are always sending in reports that have to be posted online and sometimes checked just in case if something is missing.

DETAILS OF THE ACTIVITY

  1. Get organized
  2. Take the files of completed car deals from the receptionist desk
  3. Record the deals in the books that match the number on the top right of the file
  4. File the car deal files in order by numerical order in the cabinet (check month)
  5. Organize the papers that are given by someone from the service department
  6. Code them
  7. Check if all amounts on paper match with amounts in our system
  8. Get the papers checked by the head of the accounting department
  9. Post them online
  10. Reconcile financial statements from clients
  11. Find missing Stock/Vendor/Invoice numbers
  12. Organize work order numbers in numerical order in separate cabinet (check file number)
  13. Give completed papers to supervisor
  14. Clear up desk for next day
