iTech With Google Drive
Check out this video overview! (Your teacher may have to play it for you.)
This is Google Drive
Offering 15 GB of free storage, Google Drive is a great option for storing your files!
Sign in to Google. If Firefox or IE don't give you good results, use Chrome. Google Drive often works best with Chrome.
If you don’t remember your password, use the Can’t access your account? link to retrieve it.
If you don’t have an account or cannot access the one you previously created, sign up for one using your Gaggle email - lastnameID#@gpisd.gaggle.net. Click the red SIGN UP box in the upper right hand corner.
- Download and install Drive to your laptop. (Depending on the browser you choose, you will need to find the download file and double click to begin download. Follow instructions on the screen.)
When finished, It'll look like this:
- Create a new folder in Drive named Back to School 2013.
- Navigate to the Dubiski Homepage. From the Students menu, select Student Resources and save the A & B Class Schedule under Documents for Students (at right) in your new folder. (You will first need to open the A&B Class Schedule, click File, then “Save Page As” and navigate to your new Back to School 2013 folder in your Google Drive.)
- ** Be sure and connect your Google Drive to your Edmodo Backpack at some point. This is done in Edmodo, and you'll have access to Drive within Edmodo!
