Happy Sunday Eagle Families!

Our APEX Fun Run fundraiser begins in one week! Students and their classes will be competing against each other to see who can win the daily challenge and they'll be learning all about being MIGHTY, which is tied to great habits at home and at school. Look for your child's flyer to come home next week with their access code to create their account for pledges.

Please reach out to family and friends to sponsor your child, they can donate money per lap or make a one time donation. Our fun run will take place on Thursday, May 13. It's going to be a fun time on campus for the next two weeks for our students. We'll be using these funds to continue our campus beautification and teachers will earn money to use towards resources in their classrooms. The more the teachers raise, the more money they earn for their class.

Important Reminders

1. Our Apex Fun Run begins on Tuesday, May 4. Look for your child to bring home the information to create their Apex account for people to make pledges.

2. Students riding buses, please remember to wear your mask and keep it on the entire ride.

3. Second and third grade's field day is on Friday. Prepaid snacks will be for sale this week.

4. Picture Day is Thursday, April 29.

5. Hats on for Hunger will be this week to raise money for the CHEW program. $1 to wear a hat on Friday.

Free Before and After School Care Survey for 21-22 School Year

We are in the process of writing a grant to help fund a proposed before and afterschool program at our school beginning next school year. The afterschool Arts academy would also offer academic tutoring. Transportation will not be provided. In order to best meet our students' needs, we need your input!! APEX FUN RUN! Time to create your child's account!

Get Ready! Our FUN RUN fundraiser and Apex program kicks off next week! We’re going with a VIRTUAL / Hybrid approach so ALL students can participate in this fun and exciting program from the safety and comfort of their classroom & outside!

We love the amazing leadership and character-building portion of the Apex program as it focuses on developing student self-control and interpersonal skills that are vital for school and life success.

This year’s #ApexMIGHTY theme will take students on an exciting journey as they learn the different habits it takes to be a MIGHTY leader! These quick, engaging lessons tie in with our schools’ vision and mission, encourages students to create a positive environment, and inspires them to lead by example.
