A Note from Andy

Hey Guys -

I've been reflecting on the notes I took at Strength to Stand. In our last session with Brian Mills, he reminded us of a fact about Moses:

Moses chose God's Way over the ways of the world. He was raised in pharaoh's palace. He could have had it all...the best food, money, power, influence. But he gave it all up.

Why?

Because Moses loved God more than the world.

God's people were enslaved and increasingly mistreated in Israel at the time Moses came on the scene. But Moses knew that God had a plan for him, and he yielded to God's plan. Moses could have stayed in the palace, not stood up for the Hebrew man being beaten up by the Egyptian, and not led his brethren out of Egypt. It wasn't an easy path Moses took, but because he loved God so big, he was willing. We should be, too.

No more limits. No more excuses. No more living in pharaoh's palace.

Student Led Sunday Morning

Student Led Sunday Morning is coming up on Sunday, February 5th! Come for Sunday School at 9:45 then Worship at 11:00. We will be leading songs from STS and J.A.M., and some of our youth and leaders will be speaking!

BRANCHEZ

BRANCHEZ will meet at Cookout on Stone Drive at 4:00 on Sunday, February 5th! We will start a new Bible Study on James.

BRANCHEZ is the ministry to college-age and young adults at Lynn Garden Baptist Church! High School seniors are also invited to join us for BRANCHEZ!

Super Bowl Party

Our annual Super Bowl Party is Sunday, February 12th starting at 5:30 in the Game Room on the 3rd Floor! We will have food and watch the game through halftime!

Springing Up Youth Rally

We are planning to host a Youth Rally called "Springing Up" on Wednesday, March 22nd! More details about this event coming soon!

FUGE 2023

We are heading to FUGE Camp at Ridgecrest again this summer!
