First HR/Finance Collaboration Meeting
When all the Directors and SLT participated in Critical Friends Training this year, we discussed the idea of having collaboration meetings among departments. The first meeting is July 31, 2018 at 1:00pm in our conference room. Those in attendance at Critical Friends have received an agenda to add items that need to be discussed across our 2 departments. Then, the applicable people from each department would join in on the meeting. Of course, with the goal of not having everyone sit through parts of the meeting that doesn't apply to your work. However, having said that, we truly want the agenda items to be things that we can work through together to make things better for our departments, our schools, our employees, and our students and no one knows what those would be better than you. So if you have an agenda item, you would like to see HR and Finance work through together, please share it with me so we can add it to the agenda and get all who need to be at the meeting around the table. We are excited about the collaboration and can't wait to hear your ideas!
July 19th Training Meeting for I9's
I don't think we will need to "train on this date". We will still plan on those who deal with I9s on a regular basis to meet in order to talk through what advice the attorney gave us. However, it looks as if we are now going to have a little longer to complete the purging (YEAH!!). So, we will hold the "training" after we get the last subs,etc.. in for this school year.

Summer "To Do" List
I know we all have a lot on our plates, but if you think of anything else that needs to be on our "summer to do" list in the conference room, just add it up there and we will begin working through it.
Thank You
I know that this has been a tough time with our busy season, moving offices, saying goodbye to several peers and welcoming several others. However, I am very excited about the roles that each of you have, and I appreciate the work you are putting in to making the transition work. Remember, my saying I love to quote.. "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.".... I see all kinds of great changes. Thank you.
