PreK II News
Week of September 22nd
What's SPECIAL this week?
*This week we are reviewing COLOR! We will be focusing on all the colors found in the rainbow, as well as brown, black, and white. As we progress through the unit, we will be discovering which colors are primary and which primary colors mix to make secondary colors. We will also be looking at what colors mean and if any colors represent things that are special to us.
*FYI: Miss Matter will be teaching every morning Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30am-12pm and all day on Fridays.
*Chapel is on Friday!

Fruit of the Spirit: Self Control
For the past two weeks we've been working on self-control with the students. For preschoolers, this would be taking control of their actions; how they react when they get angry, listening to the teacher and obeying the first time they are asked to do something, not speaking when someone else is talking, etc. This can be very hard for 4 and 5 year olds to master, however with practice and consistency, I know all our students can show self-control. Check out our tame lions in the hallway!
