This Week at MHS
Here's what's happening December 13th - 17th!
Dear MHS Parents and Students,
IMPORTANT!! Semester exams will take place this Wednesday, December 15th (3rd and 4th periods) and Thursday, December 16th (1st and 2nd periods). Thursday, December 16th is a 1/2 day. Students will be released at the conclusion of both exams at 12:15pm. Bus transportation will run at its normal dismissal time at 3:20pm.
We do have some Rebel Cards on sale for $10 in the front office. Supply is limited. Expiration is February 28th, 2022.
All Final Grades will post in Power School January 10th.

Black and White Dance Information
- Dance Ticket Website: http://www.myschooldance.com
- Tickets are $25 each from Friday, December 3rd through the end of the school day on Monday, December 13th.
- After 3:30 pm on Monday, December 13th, ticket prices will increase to $30 each. Tickets must be purchased before attending the dance, and WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
- If bringing an outside guest, please note the following on the information page:
- MHS Administration must approve guests. Ninth graders may attend as a guest of a current MHS student. No eighth graders or younger will be permitted to attend, nor will anyone 21 years of age or older.
- The guest form must be completed online when purchasing tickets. Please note: if your guest attends another school you will HAVE to input one of their administrator’s email addresses when you purchase the tickets. If your guest does not attend school, you will need to enter maria.greene@marvyille-schools.org and she will have to approve your guest. If your guest has NOT BEEN APPROVED, they will not be allowed in the dance and your tickets will be refunded.
4. All school obligations must be cleared prior to purchasing tickets.

COUNSELOR'S CORNER
Attention parents of the Class of 2022! In order to remain eligible for TN Promise, your child will be required to view a short, TN Promise virtual webinar. This webinar will include all the important information pertaining to his/her TN Promise scholarship eligibility. Students must view the webinar by February 1, 2022 to remain eligible for TN Promise. Viewing the webinar is a two-step process as they must first create their tnAchieves CONNECT account. tnAchieves CONNECT is an online platform that participants will use to communicate with their volunteer mentor and the tnAchieves team. The State of Tennessee has several resources for high school seniors and their parents to help complete the FAFSA form. These resources include step-by-step videos outlining how to complete the FAFSA. You may access this information at www.TNFAFSAFRENZY.gov. Remember that students must file the FAFSA by February 1, 2022 to remain eligible for the TN Promise Scholarship Award.
