On Wednesday, October 29th, the Forestry Department gave a presentation about trees to our 3rd grade students. They discussed different parts of trees and the importance of trees.
On Friday, October 31st, our school hosted a Career Day. Students in grades 1st-4th were allowed to dress as what they wanted to be when they grow up. Community members were invited to speak to students about their jobs.
Technology and hands-on activities are an important part of my daily instruction.
My students recently visited the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum in Baton Rouge. They watched an animated show on how the continents were created. Students also visited the hands-on science gallery.
