Our earthquake is Kobe (1995). A transform boundary caused this earthquake. The magnitude was 6.9. The location of the epicenter was Awaji Island, Kobe. the depth of the focus was 10 miles. there was a 6,400 deaths resulted from the earthquake. The earthquake caused at least $100 billion dollars. It was the worst hit since Tokyo-Yokohama of 1923.
