echidna

An echidna is a native Australian monotreme.

It is not found anywhere else.

Echidnas look like spiky little bushes when they are frightened. They have soft fur underneath and brown eyes. Echidnas eat grubs, spiders, soil, ants and termites. The echidnas' predators are dingos, cats, foxes, aggresive dogs, goannas, tasmanian tigers and snakes. Echidnas
